Empty pools

Skateboarding was born in an empty pool.

It was the large droughts of the late 60's / early 70's and calm seas which sent kids searching for the waves in the concrete contours of backyard bowls.

Every skater should skate an empty pool at least once in his or her lifetime. Pools come in all shapes and sizes, and learning how to carve is already one of the trickiest steps to master.

Respect that.
